The gap comes first. The product, if any, comes last.
Almost every complaint people have about this industry traces back to that order being reversed. So here is ours, written down, in the order it actually happens.
- 1 Step 1
A conversation, not a form
What you spend, who depends on you, what you owe and what you already hold. No product is mentioned at this stage, because nothing can sensibly be recommended before these are known.
- 2 Step 2
The gap, in writing
We show you the arithmetic: what the requirement is, what already covers it, and what remains. If the gap is zero, that is the finding, and the conversation ends there at no cost to you.
- 3 Step 3
Options, with what we earn disclosed
Where something is needed, you get more than one way to fill it, with the trade-offs stated. If you ask what we earn on each, you get a number rather than a deflection.
- 4 Step 4
The fine print, read out loud
Exclusions, waiting periods, sub-limits and what counts as pre-existing — before you commit, not after a claim is reduced.
- 5 Ongoing
Review, and claim support
Cover that fitted three years ago rarely fits after a new loan, a new child or a business that has grown. And when a claim happens, we stay on the file until it settles.
Three things we will not do
- Recommend something because it pays us more, when something else fits better.
- Create urgency around a decision that does not have a deadline.
- Go quiet when you claim. That is the only part of this that was ever the point.
A note on how this works. CREDOLIGN is the practice of an individual insurance agent licensed by IRDAI for Life and Health cover. This website carries general information only — no policy is sold, issued or paid for here. If you choose to proceed, that happens directly with the insurer, subject to their underwriting and terms. See our disclosures .
