Grievance redressal
Last updated 4 August 2026
If something has gone wrong
Tell us directly first. Most complaints are the result of something we can fix quickly once we know about it, and we would rather hear it from you than not at all.
How to raise it
Write to us with your name, how to reach you, what happened and what you would like done about it. Contact details are on our contact page.
What happens next
- We acknowledge every complaint within seventy-two hours.
- We tell you who is handling it and what we need from you, if anything.
- We aim to resolve within fifteen working days, and tell you if it will take longer and why.
- You get the outcome in writing, including the reasoning where we have declined something.
If we do not resolve it
Data protection
If your complaint concerns personal data and our response does not satisfy you, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Protection and investment matters
Where a complaint concerns a policy or an investment placed through a licensed partner or product provider, that provider operates its own grievance mechanism, and the relevant regulator — IRDAI or SEBI, as applicable — maintains an escalation route beyond it. We will tell you which applies to your matter and help you use it rather than leaving you to work it out.
Licensed professional work
Where a complaint concerns work signed by a practising professional on our panel, that professional's institute maintains its own disciplinary process. Again, we will tell you which one and how to reach it.
