Privacy policy — how we handle your data
Last updated 4 August 2026
Who we are
CREDOLIGN operates this website and acts as the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below, within the meaning of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect, and why
We collect only what a given interaction actually needs.
- Enquiry forms. Your name, phone number, email address, optionally your company name, and whatever you write in the message field. We use these solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver the engagement.
- Analytics. If, and only if, you accept analytics cookies, we collect aggregate usage data about which pages are visited. No analytics script loads before you accept. See the cookie policy.
- Language preference. Stored in your browser's local storage so the site remembers whether you read it in English or Hindi. This never leaves your device.
What the calculators and Meters do not collect
Every figure you enter into a calculator or Meter on this site is processed entirely in your browser. Revenue, cash balances, cover amounts and Meter answers are never transmitted to us and never stored on any server. If you choose to have a result emailed to you, only then is anything sent, and only what you have explicitly asked us to send.
Consent, and withdrawing it
We process enquiry data on the basis of the consent you give when submitting a form. You may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us; we will stop processing and delete the data unless we are required to retain it by law.
Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twenty-four months. Client records are retained for the period required under applicable tax, company and regulatory law, and then deleted.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only:
- with the panel professional engaged on your matter, where their work requires it;
- with service providers who host this site or deliver our email and CRM, under contract;
- where we are legally required to.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act 2023 you may:
- ask what personal data of yours we hold, and why;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- have your data erased where we no longer need it;
- withdraw consent;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf;
- raise a grievance, and escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Access to enquiry and client data is limited to the people actually working on your matter, and every engagement runs under a signed confidentiality agreement.
